Gettin' up to date here

Firing off a quickie on a frosty morning. Day off work yesterday which was handy as had to traipse off to Kingston to get a crown glued back on. Brushing teeth very carefully now!

Got my phone set up as the micro SD card finally arrived. Took some pictures...much better than my camera, which pukes every time I hit the shutter these days. Not sure if the batteries are dodgy. Kodak via Poundland...meant to be for cameras but they've been pretty temperamental so far. Phone arrived just in time then.

Spent yesterday evening setting up Twitter. Yes. More modern world stuff. After much swearings when I got barred from my own account before I even got started (don't ask, I have no ideas what its issue was) and many attempts and more swearings to get an image to fit inside the circular profile bit - it was ready to go.

I've followed a broad range of people in dance, gymnastics, a bit of art, a smattering of tech related things and Elizabeth Windsor - a spoof Queen Lizzie account for light relief. This morning my feed is full of really interesting stuff. How do people get anything done with this thing? This is going to take discipline.

And on that note, I'd better get ready to leave for work. Did plan to re-take photos for the site but ran out of time. Might have to wait until tomorrow now but there's a bit of work to do in other areas so the aim is to sort that at least. This stuff all takes so much time and it's hard to focus when I have three pieces waiting to be finished. I need more hours. Roll on xmas when I have a chunk of time off to settle things down a bit.
