Catchy title here :)

Just a quick few lines this evening to keep the weekly thing going since I'll be at the office from early tomorrow morning. This temporary schedule is an enormous pain in the arse. Can't get a decent block of time to do anything much and always one eye on the clock for when I need to pack up.

No pix either since I've just mixed some paint to go on my rock guy and hacked off a bit of the old base, which needs to be more rugged. The other one is still in spindly stage and getting slowly layered up.

Speaking of rocks, my background entertainment these last few weeks has been the live feeds of the volcanic eruption on La Palma. Afar TV has the best views (feed 2, if you're interested). It's all kicking off bigly right now - some of the highest, most explosive lava jets I've seen so far, chucking out house sized lava bombs. The VEI (volcanic explosivity index?) is 'only' a 2 but it's impressive all the same. That plus the regular updates from the Bushcraft Bear has all been really fascinating, though I feel for the residents since the incessant roar is bad enough on headphones let alone hearing it day and night for weeks on end.

It's going to be November so soon and the year is coming to a close so quickly. I've spend zero time considering Christmas sales. Am I even going to have the time to make much new stuff? I don't even celebrate it myself so it always seems an odd thing to do!

I'll have to head back to the yard at the gallery to clear out more of the annoying bell flower stuff that's rooted everywhere. The only fix is some kind of herbicide but I'm not keen on that option You never know how toxic it is to have around a place. Still, the walls are being rendered then we can move the raised deck back and do another tidy up of the rest so it'll be nice for the Christmas do. I think there's some kind of Halloween thing happening too but that'll be inside only.

Okay, got to put that paint on before it dries and see how it looks.
